Overview
GoldCalc.im is designed to work without user accounts, checkout, payment processing, or saved calculator profiles. You can use the calculator without providing your name, address, phone number, or payment details.
This policy is written for transparency. It is not legal advice and may need review by counsel if the site later adds advertising, accounts, subscriptions, or location-specific compliance features.
Information we process
Calculator inputs such as weight, unit, karat, custom purity, manual spot price, and payout percentage are used in your browser to calculate estimates. GoldCalc.im does not intentionally store those calculator inputs in a user account.
When the site requests live gold pricing, the server may process technical request data needed to return a price, such as request time, IP address, user agent, and endpoint requested. Hosting and security providers may also process standard server logs for reliability, abuse prevention, caching, and troubleshooting.
Information you send to us
If you email support@goldcalc.im, we may receive your email address, message content, and any details you choose to include. We use that information to respond to your request and improve the site.
Do not send sensitive documents, identity numbers, financial account details, or private information that is not needed for the support request.
Cookies and local storage
The current site does not require an account cookie or payment cookie to use the calculator. Browser storage may be used by your browser or hosting environment for normal site operation.
GoldCalc.im uses analytics services to understand page views, site performance, and how visitors interact with pages. Those services may use cookies, local storage, or similar browser technologies depending on the visitor browser and provider settings.
Third-party services
GoldCalc.im may use infrastructure services such as Cloudflare for hosting, caching, security, and request handling. It may also request live gold price data from a third-party market data provider.
GoldCalc.im uses Pageview and Microsoft Clarity for analytics. These providers may process technical information such as page URL, referrer, browser and device details, approximate location derived from network data, interaction events, and timestamps so we can understand usage, diagnose layout problems, and improve the site.
Third-party providers receive the technical information required to provide their service. GoldCalc.im does not sell calculator inputs as personal information.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, privacy laws may give you rights to request access, correction, deletion, or information about personal data. Because GoldCalc.im does not run user accounts, we may not be able to identify a visitor from calculator use alone.
For privacy requests, contact support@goldcalc.im. We may need enough information to verify and process the request.
Children
GoldCalc.im is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent personal information to us, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.

We may update this Privacy Policy as the site changes. The latest version will be posted on this page with an updated date.
